Carol Most has several decades of experience in family and matrimonial law. She is known for harnessing that experience to get favorable results — warm and caring with her clients, and aggressive in her advocacy in court. Ms. Most is uniquely gifted at knowing which approach will best serve a client, and at capitalizing on that approach when negotiating with adversaries and arguing before a judge. The client’s needs and goals always come first.
In addition to representing parties, Ms. Most devotes a portion of her practice to representing children. That experience gives her particular credibility with judges and adversaries when child custody is at issue.
Her experience spans every aspect of family and matrimonial law — child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and equitable distribution — in cases ranging from W-2 wage earners to divorces involving many millions of dollars held in complex structures. Her custody work runs the gamut from two involved, caring parents to matters involving substance abuse, alienation, and mental health issues. Ms. Most is also a collaboratively trained matrimonial lawyer.
